If there's one talent I'm thankful for, it would be cooking. As my mother in love would say, I'm a foodie! I am very glad I like cooking because for some people its a huge burden. (mind
you, I do, once in a while, love a good restaurant made meal!)
Now (with permission), there were a few recipes that we made that I just HAVE to share with you. I also have to be totally honest with you I did not take this mouth-watering pictures. I Google searched them. I was going to take my own, but I was too impatient and ate all the food. I know I'm bad. But this is exactly what they look like!
*I used the tupperware's mixer for all these recipes.
-1 small container of 35% cream.
- mix all 3 ingredients, then, whip until nice and thick, pour in pretty individual bowls, then sprinkle on some chopped up oreo cookies. (optional)
So you see, a passion for cooking can be cultivated and you can bless so many people with this gift.
Even though I wasn't the best cook, it was always very important for me that one day I would be able to prepare nice meals for my husband and children.
I am also VERY happy Jonny boy isn't a picky eater. That makes my life way more simple.
There are so many resources for easy recipes, I don't understand how people say they "can't cook"... CROCK POT meals are way too easy, fast and simple. I'll prove it in some of my future posts about cooking.
Monday night I had my very first Tupperware party. We had a grand total of 1 person that showed up!! haha I've always heard of stories where only one person showed up to a baby shower, or surprise birthday. I always felt
so bad for them...Now, I have the chance to say I hosted my very own! I was not disappointed or sad one bit. My one guest and her 2 year old son made for the best Tupperware party I could have asked for!! (One big reason was because I got to keep all the left
over food!!!)

The first one is called:
Dill Pickle flavoured dip (I thought at first this sounded weird, but was I ever was wrong!)
It calls for:
-4 to 6 large Dill pickles finely chopped
-1 small container of sour cream (250ml)
-1 Block of cream cheese cubed (for easier mixing)
Mix well, in that order, then put in pretty bowl and Dip away! It makes enough for one Vanessa, or 4-5 normal people.
The second one was called:
Hot spinach cheese Artichoke dip (thats what I call it anyway haha)
-1 Block creamcheese softened
-1/2 a block of frozen baby spinach cube (found in frozen vegetable section) (1-2 cups, depending on how much you want to make...
